Thank you to all who attended my Dad's memorial service yesterday. It was a wonderful time celebrating his life. Despite the tears, it was a beautiful day, full of joy and love, a day Dad would have been proud of.
I have some footage and will work on it in the next few weeks. I will be posting this here, as well as footage from the Hong Kong service, and concerts that have been performed in his memory.
Stay tuned.
Blessings,
Cathy
....but, remember, I am pregnant, mourning, very tired, and have two tots to play with, school, and chase around the house; so, this may take some time.
ReplyDeleteI would have really enjoyed the memorial service had I been in town. Mark was a one of a kind friend, not only did he teach a country boy from Iowa how to sing without sounding like he came from Iowa, but we remained friends while living on opposite sides of the world. It was fun chatting on facebook and hearing him brag about his children. I will miss reminiscing about how some english words sound like Chinese words and how easy it is to say the wrong thing. Nothing but wonderful memories my friend!
ReplyDeleteCathy - I am very sorry for your loss. Would you please contact me via Facebook regarding your father's compositions? Thank you,
